Recently, the black-hole binary X-ray transient V404 Cyg (GS 2023+338) re-emerged from quiescence again (GCN #18716, #18717, #18718, #18719, #18721; ATels #8453, #8454, #8455, #8457, #8458, #8459, #8462), only 4 months after the end of its previous activity (ATel #7959). INTEGRAL performed public Target-of-Opportunity observations from 2015 December 26 to 2016 January 4 (see ATels #8475, #8500, #8510).
Like for the previous period of activity (see ATel #7758), as a service to the community, the ISDC Data Centre for Astrophysics (University of Geneva, Switzerland) is again providing ready-to-use scientific data products of these publicly available observations (light curves and spectra obtained by the various instruments). All relevant information and data files can be retrieved from the repository linked at the bottom of this Telegram. We caution that these data products are based on preliminary data and analysis; they will be updated whenever appropriate.
We kindly ask anyone making use of these INTEGRAL data products to cite this Telegram and/or ATel #7758.
