PSN J10520833+3256394 was independently discovered by the intermediate Palomar Transient Factory on UT
Dec 6 when we switched to monitor new fields. It was internally designated as iPTF15eqv.
We obtained a spectrum of iPTF15eqv on UT 2015 Dec 07.53 with the Double Spectrograph
mounted on the 200-inch Hale Telescope at Palomar Observatory. The spectrum shows weak
continuum emission superposed by strong Ca II and weak Halpha emission lines. Therefore,
iPTF15eqv is probably a Type IIb supernova (or maybe Type Ib) in the nebular phase.
