Spectra (range 350-760 nm) of supernova
CSS151209:232318+164003 was obtained on Decemeber 11, 2015 UT with
the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+ FAST).
Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the
"Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007,
Ap.J. 666, 1024) indicates the spectrum of CSS151209 is that
of a normal type Ia a few days after maximum brightness.
