Following the Fermi LAT collaboration gamma-ray activity reports of the high redshift blazars TXS0646-176 (z = 1.232, ATel#7833) and TXS0908+416 (z = 2.563, ATel#8219), we carried out NIR photometry of these objects. On MJD 2457348.997141, we found TXS0646-176 with a flux corresponding to H = 15.112 +/- 0.08, while at the epoch of the 2MASS survey the flux was H ~ 19, hence, this object has undergone a significant brightening. On MJD 2457349.028924, we found TXS0908+416 with a flux corresponding to H = 16.854 +/- 0.02, while at the 2MASS epoch the object was H > 19. Again, a significant brightening is present. Our observations are carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory of the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We encourage further multi wavelength coverage of this object.
