We observed a field near the possible Swift X-ray counterpart to the neutrino ANTARES source (Dornic et al. ATel #7987, GCNC #18231).
Our observations were conducted using Nishiharima Infrared Camera (NIC) attached to the Nayuta 2-m telescope at the Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory (Hyogo, Japan).
We performed J, H, Ks simultaneous imaging (2 sec x 10-point dithering x 2 cycles) from 2015-09-04 10:26:18 to 10:33:51 UT.
Below are the photometric results of 2MASS 16260214-2718141 (catalog magnitudes: J=9.907+/-0.024, H=9.252+/-0.021, Ks=9.049+/-0.023), which is the nearest (< 1") 2MASS object from the location of the Swift source.
J = 9.78 +/- 0.11
H = 9.20 +/- 0.04
Ks = 9.07 +/- 0.03
2MASS 16260294-2717442 in the same frame was used as a photometric reference.
