We searched for the X-ray counterpart of the ANTARES neutrino event on September 1, 2015, at 07:38:25 (UT), reported in ATEL #7987 (Dornic et al.) in the X-ray all-sky scan survey data (2-20 keV) obtained with MAXI/GSC.
No significant source was detected during the period from August 31, 00:00:00 (UT) to September 3, 00:00:00 (UT) within 1.6 degree from the neutrino location, with the upper limits of 20 mCrab per single 40-s scan transit and 5 mCrab per day.
The MAXI/GSC scan transits over the neutrino location closest in time to the event occurred at 07:36:29 (UT) (2.0 min before) and at 09:09:03 (UT) (90.6 min after), respectively.
