Spectra were obtained on UT Aug. 19.23 and Aug. 19.42 of ASASSN-15on (ATEL #7917) and ASASSN-15oh (ATEL #7911) using the 1.82-m Plaskett telescope (National Research Council of Canada) covering the range 365-720 nm (resolution 0.35 nm). Cross-correlation with a template library using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows ASASSN-15on to be a normal type-Ia supernova approximately 4 days post-maximum light. We find a good fit to the template of SN 1994ae at T=+4 days. For ASASSN-15oh, we find a good fit to the template of SN 1981B at maximum light. Using the published redshift of apparent host galaxy MCG +06-49-027 (z=0.016835, via NED) yields an expansion velocity for the Si II (rest 635.5 nm) feature of 11,200 km/s.
