We report the discovery of an apparent nova in M81 on a co-added 2070-s unfiltered CCD frame taken on 2015 Jul. 5.886 UT with the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov.

The new object designated PNV J09554149+6903528 is located at R.A. = 9h55m41s.49, Decl. = +69o03'52".8 (equinox 2000.0), which is 44.6" east and 2.3" south of the center of M81 (see link to discovery image below).

The following unfiltered magnitudes were obtained using the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov (R-band magnitudes used from comparison stars):

2015 Jun. 25.928 UT, [20.7; Jul. 5.886, 18.6 ± 0.15.

We thank H. Kucakova for getting M81 images on Jun. 25.928 UT.
