Spectra were obtained on UT May 27.29 of ASSASN-15ke (ATEL 7568) using the 1.82-m Plaskett telescope (National Research Council of Canada) covering the range 365-720 nm (resolution 0.35 nm). Cross-correlation with a template library using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows ASSASN-15ke to be a normal type-Ia supernova more than a week post-maximum light. We find a good fit to the template of SN 2003du at T = +9 days. Using the published redshift of 2MASX J15254441+5921091 (Rines et al., 2003, AJ 126, 2152) of 0.045 yields an expansion velocity for the Si II (rest 635.5 nm) feature of 10,200 km/s.
