FLOYDS Classification of ASASSN-15jo as a Type Ia Supernova Near Peak

We obtained a spectrum of ASASSN-15jo (ATel #7540) on 2015 May 22.3 UT with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the Faulkes Telescope North. Using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find a good fit to the normal Type Ia SN 2003du a few days after maximum at redshift z=0.011, which is close to that of the proposed host cluster (z=0.014; Abell, Corwin, & Orowin 1989, ApJS, 70, 1A via NED).
