PESSTO, the Public ESO Spectroscopic Survey for Transient Objects (see Smartt et al., arXiv:1411.0299 http://www.pessto.org ), reports the following supernova classifications. Targets were supplied by the La Silla Quest Survey (LSQ) (Baltay et al. 2013, PASP, 125, 683), the PS1 NEO Survey Program (see Smartt et al., ATel #5850), from CRTS (Drake et al. 2009, 696, 870 ; http://crts.caltech.edu/ ), and the IAU Transient Objects Confirmation Page (TOCP). All observations were performed on the ESO New Technology Telescope at La Silla on 2015-02-17, using EFOSC2 and Grism 13 (3985-9315A, 18A resolution). Classifications were done with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) and GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383). Classification spectra can be obtained from http://www.pessto.org (via WISeREP).

(1) Match type IIP sn2004et around +3d
(2) Associated with galaxy MCG-02-40-001 at z=0.02451. Blue continuum, broad features. Galactic Halpha & [OIII]. Broad and shallow H-alpha, H-beta, and He I on a blue continuum. Likely type II at pre-maximum
(3) First discovered as CSS141223-113342+004332, recovered as MLS150211-113342+004333 by CRTS and detected as PS15ae by Pan-STARRS. Good match to several SLSNe Ic including PTF09cnd, PTF12dam and LSQ12dlf. Likely a slowly rising SN at z=0.11. PS15ae measured w=16.95 +/- 0.01 on 2015-02-15 and w=16.89 +/- 0.01 on 2015-02-16. The photometric difference is probably significant.
