We confirm the detection of the optical nova candidate in M31 reported by Ovcharov et al.
(Atel #7065) on CCD images taken on 2015. Feb. 12.8 and 13.7 UT with the 0.60-m Schmidt telescope at Konkoly Observatory, Piszkesteto, Hungary. The transient is located at R.A. = 00h42m33s.06, Decl. = +41d13'08".9 (+/- 0".3; equinox 2000.0). The estimated CCD-magnitudes (tied to USNO B1.0 magnitudes) are:
2015. Feb. 12.810 UT R = 17.6 +/- 0.3;
2015. Feb. 12.819 UT V = 18.1 +/- 0.3;
2015. Feb. 13.739 UT R = 18.2 +/- 0.3;
2015. Feb. 13.744 UT V = 18.4 +/- 0.3;
2015. Feb. 13.757 UT B = 18.7 +/- 0.3;
