The MAXI/GSC nova alert system triggered an X-ray transient at 2015 January 25 20:25UT. We obtained the source position at
(R.A., Dec) = (248.254 deg, -47.561 deg) = (16 33 00, -47 33 39) (J2000)
with a position uncertainty of ~0.31 deg. This position is consistent with that of the black hole candidate 4U 1630-472. The X-ray flux has increased since January 25, and averaged 2-10 keV flux from January 25 through 26.3 is 90±12 mCrab.

X-ray outbursts from 4U1630-472 were also detected in 2009 December (#2363) and 2011 December (#3830). Since the end of the previous outburst in 2013 December, no obvious X-ray source has been detected in this region until 2015 January 24, meanwhile.
Follow-up observations are encouraged.
