Spectra (range 350-760 nm) of ASASSN-15bc and ASASSN-15bd were obtained on Jan 19, 2015 UT with the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+ FAST). Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows ASASSN-15bc is a normal Ia at a phase of -5 days before maximum brightness. The best match for ASASSN-15bd is type IIb sn2008ax at an early phase.
