After the report of a bright Gev Gamma-ray flare detected by Fermi LAT, reported in ATEL#6878. we carried out follow up NIR observations of the low redshift (z=0.062) FRQS PKS1441+25, cross identified with the gamma-ray source 2FGLJ1444.1+2500 and the radio source S3 1441=25. On January 11th,2015 (JD2457033.06), we found the source with NIR fluxes corresponding to J = 15.916 +/- 0.05, H = 15.360 +/- 0.06 and Ks = 14.655 +/- 0.05. At the time of the 2MASS IR survey the source was fainter than H ~ 17.5. Hence, it has had a significant increase in flux at NIR wavelengths probably associated with the Gamma-ray flare. Our observations were carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We strongly encourage further multiwavelength coverage.
