Nova in M31

We report the discovery of an apparent nova located at R.A. =
0h42m41s.99, Decl. = +41o18'02".1 (equinox 2000.0), which is 26".3
west and 113".6 north of the center of M31. Available R magnitude
from 3x300s CCD images taken with the 50/70cm Schmidt telescope at
NAO Rozhen, Bulgaria: Nov. 03.941 UT, 18.70. Nothing visible
on archival images from years 2004-2005 down to R = 19.5 mags. The
nearest variable is POINT-AGAPE No.26078 at distance of 2".5.
