MASTER OT J185531.42+371609.9 - new CV candidate
MASTER-Amur auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 18h 55m 31.42s +37d 16m 09.9s on 2014-07-16.58360 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 16.4m (limit 18.4m). The OT is seen in 9 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2012-09-07.55720 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 18.1m.
There is nothing at this position on the digitized Palomar plates to the limiting magnitude ~21. Color-combined DSS finder chart is uploaded to http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J185531+371609-BRIR5x5.jpg (2x zoom). Object is not present in any catalogs and AAVSO VSX. This area of sky in Lyra is not covered by SDSS, GALEX and CSS.
Based on the amplitude of variability (at least ~5m), MASTER OT J185531.42+371609.9 is likely a new cataclysmic variable (dwarf nova in outburst). Follow up observations are required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/185531.42371609.9.jpg
