Wenxiong Li, Liming Rui, and Xiaofeng Wang, Tsinghua University, China; Qian Yang, Xuebin Wu, Peking University; Tianmeng Zhang, National Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC); report on an optical spectrogram (range 370-840 nm) of PSN J13253881+2557339 that was obtained on May 26.56 2014 UT with the 2.16-m telescope (+ OMR) at the Xinglong Station of the NAOC. The spectrum is consistent with a broad-line type Ic supernova at around the maximum light. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A.Ap., 488, 383) shows that it matches with SN 2003jd at t =-2 days. From the narrow emission lines of the spectrum, they measure a redshift of 0.0377 for the host galaxy SDSS J132538.81+255734.0. The CCD magnitude of this supernova was found to rise from about 18.3 mag on May 20.60 2014 UT to about 17.0 mag on May 25.60 UT 2014.
