Confirmation of PNV J09553246+6903202 as a nova

We report spectroscopic observation of PNV J09553246+6903202 (ATel 5873; internally designated as iPTF14qp) on Feb 18.107 with
the Dual Imaging Spectrograph mounted on the ARC 3.5m telescope at Apache Point Observatory. The spectrum has very low S/N with a prominent Halpha emission. The FWHM of Halpha is ~2,000 km/s. Hence, we confirm it as a M81 nova.
