MASTER OT J153215.01+301933.2 - possible Supernova
MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 15h 32m 15.01s +30d 19m 33.2s on 2013-12-25.03311 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 17.0m (limit 18.1m). The OT is seen in 4 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2012-04-14.82252 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 19.9m.
The OT is located 1.8" west and 0.6" south of the extended object SDSS J153215.15+301933.8 (u=21.07 g=19.83 r=19.47 i=19.27 z=19.15) with Type: GALAXY, major axis 3.2" and minor axis 2.2" according to NED.
We suggest that MASTER OT J153215.01+301933.2 is likely a supernova. Spectral confirmation is required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/153215.01301933.2.png
MASTER robots are wishing you Merry Christmas and productive New 2014 Year full of astronomical discoveries.
