MASTER OT J103726.85+334919.1 - possible Supernova
MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 10h 37m 26.85s +33d 49m 19.1s on 2013-12-04.94433 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 18.0m (limit 18.7m). The OT is seen in 7 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2012-04-15.77844 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 19.6m.
The OT is located 1" east and 0.5" north of galaxy SDSS J103726.77+334918.6 (g=19.92 r=19.79 i=19.74). Spectral observations are required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/103726.85334919.1.png
MASTER OT J013026.00+313045.1 - new CV
MASTER-Tunka auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 01h 30m 26.00s +31d 30m 45.1s on 2013-12-05.58012 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 18.2m (limit 19.5m). The OT is seen in 2 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2012-01-13.48402 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 20.0m. The OT was confirmed by MASTER-Kislovodsk on 2013-12-06.729 UT at 17.8m.
There is nothing at this position in any catalogs and on SDSS color image to ~23m.
Color-combined DSS finder chart is uploaded to http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J013026+313045-BRIR5x5.jpg (2x zoom). No previous outbursts were detected by Catalina Sky Survey. There is nothing on 26 NEAT images obtained on 8 nights from 1997 Oct. 29 to 2002 Dec. 03 and on their combination.
Based on the outburst amplitude (at least 5m), MASTER OT J013026.00+313045.1 is likely a dwarf nova of
UGSU or UGWZ type. Follow up observations are required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/013026.00313045.1.jpg
MASTER OT J070505.34+260809.5 - new CV
MASTER-Tunka auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 07h 05m 05.34s +26d 08m 09.5s on 2013-12-05.68075 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 16.7m (limit 19.0m). The OT is seen in 8 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2011-01-31.63038 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 19.8m.
The OT is identical to the star USNO-A2.0 1125-04840069 (07 05 05.44 +26 08 09.7 R=18.3 B=19.0) = USNO-B1.0 1161-0134062 (07 05 05.422 +26 08 09.47 B1=19.89 R1=18.40 B2=20.09 R1=19.15 I=18.33). Color-combined DSS finder chart is uploaded to http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J070505+260809-BRIR5x5.jpg (2x zoom). There is also an UV counterpart GALEX J070505.4+260811 (FUV=21.20+/-0.24, NUV=20.93+/-0.22). There is nothing at this position in 1RXS, 2MASS, GCVS and AAVSO VSX. This area of sky in Gemini is not covered by SDSS.
Previous outbursts were detected by Mount Lemmon Survey on 2007 Dec. 04 (17.8m) and 2008 Jan. 15 (17.4m). There are 24 NEAT images on 8 nights from 2001 Dec. 18 to 2002 Feb. 22. The star was bright on two images obtained on 2002 Feb. 14.
Based on the color, amplitude of variability and previous outbursts, MASTER OT J070505.34+260809.5 is most likely a dwarf nova of UGSS type. Follow up observations are encouraged. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/070505.34260809.5.jpg
