Subjects: X-ray, Nova

Following the announcement that V1324 Sco (Nova Sco 2012) had entered the nebular phase (ATel #5525), a Swift Target of Opportunity observation was performed on 2013 November 03-04 in order to determine whether it had become visible as an X-ray source. In 1.1 ks of exposure no X-ray source was detected; we find a 3-sigma upper limit of 0.007 count s-1 (0.3-10 keV) on the X-ray count rate.

No Swift observation, in sparse monitoring from one month after discovery to this most recent dataset, has detected X-ray emission from this second of four novae to be seen in gamma-rays by the Fermi LAT (see also ATel #4287).

We thank the Swift PI and mission operations team for their continuing support.
