MASTER OT J181751.42+594937.6 - new flare star of UV Ceti type

MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 18h 17m 51.42s +59d 49m 37.6s on 2013-07-08.77560 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 15.9m (limit 19.6m). The object has faded to 16.9m on the image obtained on 2013-07-08.80325 UT (40 minutes later). The OT is seen in 9 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have unfiltered reference image with the object at 17.9m on 2013-06-25.88003 UT (limiting magnitude 18.6).

The object is identical to the red star USNO-B1.0 1498-0251445 (18 17 51.370 +59 49 37.26 R1=18.86 B2=20.54 R2=18.91 I=15.98). It also has an IR countepart 2MASS 18175142+5949371 (J=14.52+/-0.04 H=13.97+/-0.04 K=13.65+/-0.04). Color-combined (BRIR) DSS finder chart is uploaded to http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J181751+594937-BRIR.jpg (10x10' FOV). There is nothing at this position in 1RXS, GALEX, GCVS and AAVSO VSX. This area of sky in Draco is not covered by SDSS and Catalina Sky Survey.

Based on the red color (J-K=0.87+/-0.06), flare amplitude and duration we conclude that MASTER OT J181751.42+594937.6 is the new variable star of UV Ceti type (flaring red dwarf).
