Following the discovery announced in ATel #4459 (Shumkov et al.) MASTER OTJ092437.95 +49212.0 = MASTER OTJ092437.95+492132.0, we have obtained multi-color photometry of Supernova in NGC 2857 now known as SN 2012fg (ATel #4466, CBET #3253) Type IIP. But real type of this SN is not strongly determined before spectral and brightness evolution observations.

Using two identical MASTER-Kislovodsk and MASTER-Amur telescopes (0.40-m f/2.5 reflector + 4Kx4K CCD) we have measured the following magnitudes:

B=16.04+-0.02 Amur, UTC 2012-10-15 20:36:17
V=15.76+-0.07 Kislovodsk, UTC 2012-10-15 00:31:30
R=15.66+-0.07 Kislovodsk , UTC 2012-10-15 00:31:30
I=15.4+-0.06 Amur, UTC 2012-10-15 20:36:17

We have also obtained additional unfiltered observations. Unfiltered magnitudes (calibrated to 0.8*R+0.2*B from USNO-B1.0) are listed below:

2012 Oct. 07.088 UT 15.95+/-0.03

2012 Oct. 13.973 UT 15.83+/-0.10

2012 Oct. 14.979 UT 15.79+/-0.04

We would like to note that the host galaxy of SN 2012fg (NGC 2857) is listed in the Catalog of Peculiar Galaxies (H. Arp, ApJS, 14, 1966) as Arp 1.
The improved position of SN from MASTER images is

09h24m38s.05, +49d21'34".0.

The SN appears close to the bright knot in the inner part of NGC 2857's spiral arm. The color combined image from MASTER-Kislovodsk luminance and R frames and MASTER-Amur B, I frames is uploaded to (14-16 oct 2912):SN2012fg_color.jpg"> http://observ.pereplet.ru/images/SN2012fg_color.jpg

We encourage the continued spectroscopic and photometric observations of this SN in order to investigate the further development of its spectral lines and the light curve.
