Following the report of the brightening of PKS2233-148 in the Gamma Ray regime by ATel #4152, #4154,
we incorporated this object into our NIR monitoring program of AGN Gamma Ray sources detected by Fermi LAT. For June 28th, 2012 (JD2456106.98537), we determine the following photometric values:
J = 14.076 +/- 0.05, H = 13.209 +/- 0.05 and Ks = 12.603 +/- 0.03. These values are, on average, 1.8 magnitudes brighter than previously known photometry, from the 2MASS survey, in these wavelengths. They are also consistent with the general multi wavelength brightening of this object reported in ATel #4222. Given the nature of this object, we encourage further multi wavelength coverage. Our observations were carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera.
