Possible Comet Discovery

MASTER-Tunka (longitude +103° 4' 2.61",latitude=+51° 48' 36.00" , altitude = 680 m) auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 12h 53m 12.60s +42d 27m 25.3s on 2012-01-15.97258 UT.

The OT unfiltered magnitude is 17.5m (limit 19.5m).

The OT is moving. There is no known minor planet at this place.

The object has visible halo (see discovery reference: http://observ.pereplet.ru/images/possible_comet2012a/comet_like.jpg

The Amur site located at Long. = 127° 28' 54" E, Lat. = 50° 19' 06" N and Alt.= 215m.

The moving object was founded also by LINEAR (704: Lincoln Laboratory ETS, New Mexico) .
