MAXI/GSC detected a very short flare from the position consistent with the Algol. The significant X-ray flux in the 2-10 keV band had been detected at 2011-12-16 04:25 (UT) (= MJD 55911.184) and the activity continued only about 10 sec. The maximum X-ray flux and the luminosity are about 100 mCrab and 2×1032 ergs/s (distance is assumed to be 28.5 pc), respectively. MAXI/GSC previously detected a flare from this source on 2010-12-31 with almost the same flux but with the longer duration time of about 10 ksec.
