We report the ongoing NIR flare of the flat spectrum radio source BZQJ0629-1959 also known as CGRaBS J0629-19590. On January 13th,2011 (JD 2455574.804965), we detected a NIR source coincident with the radio position. We determined the flux from this object to correspond to H = 15.246 +/- 0.06. The object was not detected by the 2mass survey with a limiting magnitude H ~ 17 for this field. Henceforth, this QSO has had an increase in flux by at least a factor 5 in recent times. Observations were carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory of the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We encourage further multi wavelength coverage.
