Optical Nova Candidate in M31

We report the discovery of a possible nova located at RA(2000) = 00h41m46.28s, Dec(2000) = +40d50'11.4", which is 654.4" west and 1557.1" south of the center of M31. The images are obtained with the 50/70cm Schmidt telescope at NAO Rozhen, Bulgaria. The available BVR-magnitudes are:
2011 January 27.74141 UT, B = 18.58 +/- 0.04 (from 3x300sec co-added CCD images)
2011 January 27.75694 UT, V = 18.15 +/- 0.03 (from 3x300sec co-added CCD images)
2011 January 27.72431 UT, R = 17.76 +/- 0.03 (from 5x300sec co-added CCD images)
The nearest variable is POINT-AGAPE No.63818 at distance 2.42".
