Subjects: Radio, Supernovae

The Type IIP supernova 2008in CBET (1636, 1638), in the galaxy M61/NGC 4303, was the subject of a VLA search on 2008 Dec 31.4 (UT) at 8.4601 and 22.4601 GHz. No radio emission was detected at the supernova location with the following 3-sigma upper limits: 0.26 mJy (8.4601 GHz with resolution 0.42") and 0.39 mJy (22.4601 GHz with resolution 0.14"). Further VLA observation are planned. We would like to extend our thanks to the VLA scheduling officers and telescope operators for their support of our observing program.
