SS Cyg is a well-known dwarf nova system harboring an accreting white dwarf (for a review, see Ishida 2010). Swift recently observed this source using the X-ray Telescope (XRT), starting on 2024-11-27 02:42:17.152 UTC. Via XSPEC, the 0.3-10 keV spectrum of the source can be modeled using a simple power-law function, yielding a power-law index of Gamma = 1.27 +/- 0.05 and a normalization of K = 0.0111 +/- 0.0006. The flux was found to be 1.2 E-10 +/- 0.1 E-10 ergs/cm^2/s. Continued monitoring of this source is encouraged.
