New optical outburst of BL Lacertae

This blazar has been monitored during the last several nights (2024, Sept 5th, 6th and 7th) with the 0.6m telescope of Belogradchik observatory, Bulgaria. The object showed steadily increasing optical flux and reached a magnitude below 12 (R-band with 8 arcsec aperture used) during the last night. This brightness level is comparable with the outbursts from 2021 and 2022. Significant polarization changes in the R-band were also detected. Our preliminary data are listed below.
