I report the spectroscopic classification of PNV J19430751+2100204.
I obtained its spectrum by the fiber-fed integral field spectrograph (KOOLS-IFU; Matsubayashi et al. 2019) mounted on the 3.8 m Seimei telescope (Kurita et al. 2020) at Okayama Observatory of Kyoto University on 2024-07-30.47 UT using the VPH-blue grism (covering 4100 - 8500 Å, resolution ∼ 500).
As reported to CBAT, this object was discovered at 11.2 mag (unfiltered) on 2024-07-29.8317 UT by the New Milky Way survey.
My spectrum by Seimei/KOOLS-IFU is dominated by a red continuum.
Emission lines of Hα, Hβ, Hγ, and O I (7774 Å) having P Cyg profiles are detected.
The velocity of the absorption minima of Hα is ∼ −1900 km/s.
Also, absorption features of Na I D (5892 Å) and of diffuse interstellar bands (e.g., 6280 Å) are found.
From the overall features, I classify this object as a classical nova suffering from Galactic extinction.
