Optical follow-up of PKS1413+135

Following the announcement of a Gamma ray high state of PKS1413+135 in ATel 16123, I observed the source on 2023-07-10T21:00 with the 30cm telescope of the Foligno Observatory (MPC K56) with a QHY174M camera and no filter, with 1 hour exposure. The source was detected near the image limit. Aperture photometry was made with IRAF/apphot using PanSTARRS r magnitudes for comparison. PKS1413+135 was at r=20.2 +/-0.2, a value quite compatible with its catalog value (rmag=20.25) The Gamma-ray high state has therefore no optical counterpart, at least not detectable at 4 days distance.
