On 2008 June 8.60 UT a spectrum of Nova M31 2008-05c (ATel#1546) was obtained with the Low-Resolution Imager and Spectrograph (LRIS) on the Keck-I 10-m telescope. Observations were performed through heavy cloud cover using the 400/3400 grism (6.5 angstrom FWHM) and 400/8500 grating (5.6 angstrom FWHM) and exposures of 2x920s and 2x900s, respectively.
The spectrum shows strong Balmer lines with velocity widths of 1800+-100 km/s. In addition we detect FeII(42) and OI/7773+8446 as strongest non-Balmer emission features. This suggests a spectral classification of type FeII, following Williams et. al. (1991, 1994).
