The Type II supernova SN 2021mwj (=ATLAS21pki; TNS AstroNote 2021-162; TNS Classification Report No. 9718) in NGC 2935 has been observed with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) on 29th May 2021 between UTC 04:00 and 06:00. No radio emission was detected at the reported location, to a 3-sigma upper limit on flux density of 0.07 mJy and 0.04 mJy at 5.5 GHz and 9 GHz, respectively. Adopting the host galaxy distance as 28 Mpc from the NASA Extragalactic Database (NED) this implies an upper limit on the 5.5 GHz and 9 GHz luminosities after just over a week of 6.6E+25 erg/sec/Hz and 3.8E+25 erg/sec/Hz, respectively. We would like to extend our thanks to the ATCA staff for enabling these observations. The ATCA is part of the Australia Telescope National Facility which is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia for operation as a National Facility managed by CSIRO. We acknowledge the Gomeroi people as the traditional owners of the Observatory site.
