We report the classification of AT2021lxb from spectroscopic observations with the DEIMOS spectrograph on the Keck II telescope. The target was supplied by the Young Supernova Experiment (Jones et al., 2021, ApJ, 908, 143J). Observations were made on 2021 May 11 UT and the classification was performed with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).

Name |IAU Name | RA (J2000) | Dec (J2000) | z | Type |Phase| Notes
PS21drg|AT2021lxb| 13:01:58.650 | +28:00:30.85 |0.0259| Ia | -12 | (1)

Notes: When the redshift is given to 2 decimal places, it is derived from the SN spectrum. Otherwise, the redshift is determined from the host galaxy. (1) The Si ratio is relatively strong, perhaps indicating a lower-luminosity SN. We measure an Si II 6355 velocity of -12,700 km/s.

We thank the staff at the Keck telescope (specifically Arina Rostopchina, Percy Gomez and Michael Lundquist) for their assistance in acquiring these observations.
