The new X-ray transient MAXI J1803-298 (see, e.g., ATels #14587, #14588, #14591, #14598) was serendipitously observed by INTEGRAL during the planned observation of the Galactic Center (PI: J. Wilms) between 2021-05-02T21:40 and 2021-05-04T04:15 (revolution 2361).
The source entered the JEM-X field of view during four science windows between UTC 08:19 and 10:41 on May 3, 2021 leading to 5 ksec total effective exposure. It is well detected (39 σ) between 3 and 25 keV with following average fluxes:
3-10 keV: 128 +/-5 mCrab (3.1e-9 erg/cm2/s)
10-25 keV: 132 +/-14 mCrab (1.5e-9 erg/cm2/s)
The JEM-X light curve does not reveal any flaring activity.
