The field of MAXI J0903-531 was regularly monitored in the I-band by the
OGLE survey from January 2017
until March 2020 when the OGLE observations were suspended due to the
CoViD-19 pandemic. The OGLE light curve presented in the OGLE XROM
System is flat up to mid-May 2019. After that the MAXI J0903-531 system
brightened and stayed bright up to the end of the OGLE-IV monitoring in
March 2020.
A clear sinusoidal variability with the period of P=0.79114 d is seen in
the flat part of the OGLE-IV light curve (or 2*P if this is an effect of
ellipsoidal variability), confirming the result from TESS photometry
(ATEL #
14568). 3.8 d periodicity reported in ATEL #
14564 based on
ASAS-SN data is a clear 1-day alias of P (as well as 0.44117 d).
