We report the classification of AT2021foa (ASASSN-21dg), discovered on March 15, 2021, from spectropolarimetric observations with FORS2 mounted on the Very Large Telescope. Observations were acquired on March 16, 2021, through the 300V grism and a GG435 order separating filter. The spectrum was flux calibrated using a general sensitivity curve and the classification was performed with GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383).
