We report the spectroscopic classification SN 2021bge, discovered by Koichi Itagaki.
The observation was performed with the Goodman High Throughput Spectrograph, mounted on the 4.1m SOAR telescope (range 320-720 nm; resolution 0.5 nm).

(1) The spectrum shows prominent P-Cygni profiles from the Balmer series. From the position of the minimum of H beta we measure an expansion velocity of 9800 km/s.
