We monitor the flat-spectrum radio quasar Ton 599 with three optical bands (g', Rc, and Ic) using the MITSuME 50 cm Telescopes at Akeno Observatory and Okayama Astrophysical Observatory in Japan. We found that the optical brightness increased from g' =17.0+/- 0.1, Rc=16.7+/- 0.1, Ic=16.3+/-0.1 on December 21, 2020 (MJD 59204.75) with g ~ 0.063 mag/day, Rc ~ 0.062 mag/day and Ic ~ 0.061 mag/day, and reached to g' =15.2+/-0.1, Rc=14.9+/-0.1, Ic=14.5+/-0.1 on January 20, 2021 (MJD 59234.72).
We also monitor the quasar 3C279, which was in the bright state in optical reported in ATel #14310. We found that the optical brightness increased from g' =15.8+/-0.1, Rc=15.3+/-0.1 Ic=14.9+/-0.1 on November 22, 2020 (MJD 59175.81) then reached the maximum g' =14.4+/-0.1 Rc=13.9+/-0.1, Ic=13.5+/-0.1 on January 09, 2021 (MJD 59223.78) In the last few nights, our data shows that the brightness seems to decrease to g' =15.0+/-0.1, Rc=14.6+/-0.1, Ic=14.1+/-0.1 on January 20, 2021 (MJD 59234.77)
We used the PS1 catalog for flux calibration. The magnitudes are expressed in the AB system. The images were processed in real-time through the MITSuME GPU reduction pipeline (Niwano et al., https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2020PASJ..tmp..249N/abstract; https://github.com/MNiwano/Eclaire).
