We observed the field of the transient AT2020xnd (ATel #14105) from 04:00-08:00 UTC on 2020-11-27 with the Australia Telescope Compact Array. Observations were carried out in the H168 configuration with 2x2 GHz bands centered on 33 and 35 GHz. We excluded CA06 from our analysis to ensure a more uniform u-v coverage, resulting in a maximum baseline of 192 m.
We detect the radio counterpart to AT2020xnd with a flux density of 490+/-40 uJy at 34 GHz after combining both bands.
Further observations are planned.
Thank you to CSIRO staff for supporting these observations.
