Spectroscopic Classification of AT 2020ybn with the Lick Shane telescope

We report the spectroscopic classification of AT 2020ybn, discovered by ATLAS. The observation was made on 2020 Nov 11 UT with the Kast spectrograph on the Shane telescope. The spectrum is characterized by a blue continuum with Balmer and He I emission lines.

Notes: (1) The redshift is determined from the H alpha emission in the SN spectrum. We measured a FWHM of ~2000 km/s for the Balmer lines.
