The Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF; ATel #11266) reports the discovery of ZTF20ablyczu (AT2020plo), a rapidly rising blue transient located at
00:44:20.18 +41:34:08.1 (J2000)
11.084087 +41.568912 (J2000)
and detected as part of the ZTF public survey.

The source was discovered on UT 2020-07-15T11:42:25.920 at r=20.24 mag, which was 3 hours after the last non-detection (r>20.77 mag). Subsequent P48 observations 1d later established a rapid rise rate of 4.6 magnitudes in 1 day as well as blue colors (g-r=+0.33).

The transient position is 0.5'' from a candidate 1967 nova, 1967-10c [1,2] at 00:44:20.15 +41:34:08.5, suggesting that this is likely to be a recurrent nova system.
