The Type II supernova SN 2020llx (TNS Astronomical Transient Report No. 72480, TNS Classification Report No. 6838) in NGC 7140 has been observed with the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) between 11th -12th June 2020 from UT 19:30 to 01:00. No radio emission was detected at the reported location, to a 3-sigma upper limit on flux densities of 0.08 mJy (5.5 GHz) and 0.055 mJy (9 GHz), respectively. Adopting the host galaxy distance as 25.8 Mpc from NASA Extragalactic Database (NED) this implies an upper limit on the 5.5 GHz and 9 GHz luminosities of 6.4E+25 erg/sec/Hz and 4.4E+25 erg/sec/Hz, respectively. We would like to extend our thanks to the ATCA staff for enabling these observations. The ATCA is part of the Australia Telescope National Facility which is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia for operation as a National Facility managed by CSIRO.
