The MAXI/GSC nova alert system triggered on X-ray rebrightening of the black hole candidate MAXI J1348-630 (ATel #12425, #12430, #12434, #12439, #12441, #12447, #12448, #12456, #12457, #12470, #12477, #12480, #12491, #12497, #12505, #12520, #12829, #12838, #13188, #13451) at 18:45 UT on 2020 February 6. The GSC data show that the 2-20 keV flux has been increasing since February 1, 2020, and reached 0.051 +/- 0.017 photons/cm2/s (~16 mCrab) on February 7.
The source was reported to have been detected with visible light just before (ATel #13451). Follow-up observation is recommended.
