We report the discovery of a possible supernova on the images obtained remotely with the Chilescope instrument (0.50-m f/3.8 reflector + CCD) in Rio Hurtad, Chile on 2019 July 29. The new object is visible on five 300-sec unfiltered exposures obtained from 08:46 to 09:58 UT. It is located at the following position (J2000.0): R.A. = 04 29 10.27, Decl. = -54 00 10.8. The magnitude of the object is 18.8 at 2019-07-29.416 UT.

The object does not move over 1.2 hours of observations. There is no known minor planet or comet at this place. Animation of discovery image by Chilescope and archival DSS Red plate from 1994 Dec. 28 is posted at http://scan.sai.msu.ru/~denis/SN/LANAT-PSN1-Chilescope-anim.gif and the color-combined (JRIR) DSS finder chart of the possible host is uploaded to http://scan.sai.msu.ru/~denis/SN/LANAT-PSN1-5x5.jpg (2x zoom).

The possible host is listed in NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database as a galaxy APMUKS B042801.52-540640.5 (note the B1950.0 position). Multiwavelength photometric catalog in the South Ecliptic Pole (SEP) field (Baroncelli et al., 2016) reports the elliptic shape with the semiaxes of 1.450 and 0.608 arcsec.

The new object was found during the summer science camp LANAT organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University. This is our first possible Supernova discovery. Follow up photometry and spectral confirmation are welcome.
