The Asiago Transient Classification Program (Tomasella et al. 2014, AN, 335, 841) reports the spectroscopic observation of ASASSN-19pn (SN2019hsw). The target was supplied by the All Sky Automated Survey for SuperNovae (ASAS-SN, Shappee et al. 2014).

The observation was performed with the Asiago 1.22m Galileo Telescope (+Boller&Chivens; range 340-720 nm; resolution 0.7 nm).

(1) The low S/N spectrum (because of scattered clouds and bright Moon) shows a blue continuum and hints of broad H Balmer features consistent with a young type II SN. We also detect narrow Halpha and [OIII] emission lines from a nearby HII region from which we derive a redshift of 0.0055 in agreement with z=0.0058 reported for NGC 2805 by Almeida et al. 2011, ApJ 735 via NED.

The classification was performed using the GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383)
and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) tools.

The Asiago classification spectra are posted at the website http://sngroup.oapd.inaf.it.
