Identification of two INTEGRAL sources with SWIFT/XRT

Two unidentified sources of the INTEGRAL all-sky catalog (Krivonos et al. 2007): IGR J06239-6052 (see also Gotz et al. 2006, A&A, 448, 873) and 1ES 1210-646 (see also Revnivtsev et al. 2006, Astr.Lett, 32, 145, Elvis et al. 1992, ApJS, 80, 257) were observed with the XRT telescope onboard the SWIFT observatory that allowed us to identify their nature.

IGR J06239-6052: An accurate localization of the source with SWIFT/XRT (RA=06 23 45.613, Dec=-60 58 45.39, J2000, a position uncertainty of ~4 arcsec) clearly indicates that it is an active nucleus in the galaxy ESO 121-IG 028 at the redshift z=0.040521. A preliminary source X-ray spectrum demonstrates a very strong photoabsorption with NHL~2e23 cm-2, showing that it is a Seyfert 2 galaxy.

1ES 1210-646: Observations of SWIFT/XRT revealed a clear counterpart of the hard X-ray source at the position of RA=12:13:14.702, Dec=-64:52:30.89 (a position uncertainty of ~4arcsec). The source X-ray spectrum has a very pronounced emission line at the energy E~6.7 keV (EW~400 eV), which in a combination with the overall hardness of the spectrum (a power law photon index Gamma~1.5-1.6) allows us to classify it as an accreting white dwarf (CV). Taking into account already available statistics of INTEGRAL on accreting white dwarfs -- the most likely it is an intermediate polar.
